JOCK TAKES FIRST PLACE IN THE OPEN SURF AND OPEN RACE DIVISIONS OF THE 2009 BSUPA TOUR

After a year long series of super tough competition, Jock not only manages to take first place overall in the Open Surf division, but takes the first in the Open Race as well - an incredible achievement. Jock has been competing in surf comps aroud the world for over 30 years now and he is still going as strong as ever; and still stoked as a teenage grom on his SUP - a great ambassador for the sport.

GUTS TAKES THE WIN AT THE BSA 2009 BRITISH SUP SURF CHAMPTIONSHIPS

At Fistral beach last weekend Chris “Guts” Griffiths put on a stellar performance to take the title of SUP British Champion .In testing conditions ,Griffiths put on a stylish performance to beat a quality field including fellow finalists Adam Zervais and Tim Mellors.

Guts said after his win “I am really proud to have become the very first British Champion at Stand up Paddle Surfing".

Lewis wins at the good & windy final event at Beach Blast in Brighton which secures his overall win for the year. Lewis has now the British Freestyle three years running, an unprecedented achievement.

KIRSTY JONES ROMPS THROUGH TO WIN KPWT WAVEMASTERS IN BRAZIL

A long week of high temperatures and cruely early starts accompanied the great wind & waves for latest round of KPWT wave tour in Brazil. Kirsty romped through many rounds of tough heats, up against the international field of the world top female wave riders, to take a much celebrated first place. Kirsty is presently leading the ranks which outs her in a strong place to take the overall win after final comp in Morroco in November.
