At PRTP this year we will be debuting the new JL Distance Standup board. There will be a strong team of JL teamriders utilising this new board in the 10 mile Worthing to Brighton race Saturday morning. To also mark this occasion we are running a time trial on the board which is open to all. The fastest competitor over the weekend will win a beautiful, handmade, wooden Kinimaka paddle. And as part of the BSUPA SUP demo pool we will also have a full selection of JL boards on test.w
Terrible waves, but the good weather and jovial spirit amongst the competitors made for a great weekend. And as Guts carried home the first prize trophy in the Men's open and his son Connor in the Junior's it turned out to be a good show for the JL team.
Lewis brings home the first place trophy once again. Looking like his momentum from last year is running straight into this years, and that also his winter training in South Africa has paid dividends.
We are very please to annouce that Welsh Surf Legend Chris 'GUTS' Griffiths has just signed to the JL team. It's great to have Guts on board. Not only an immesely talented surfer (and shaper), but his huge personality and varied & extensive experience will provide the team a mighty core.
