South Africa Capetown has been great from day one I was out on the water in big winds (on my 7m) just the way I like it. I met up with the other slingshot riders and we took off on a 9 day kitesurfing mission for film and photo's. This year I decided that using a much smaller board in 35kts + will help me deal with it so I have a model 3 125cm in black. It looks sick! I also got 2 cm fins with this board. At big bay a few days ago I tried it out when the wind went mental. It works as I though much more control and grip for the biggest megaloops ever. During our trip we went to a damn in the mountains and also langebaan where it is flat and perfect for my Park board. I have riden this board in 136cm for over a year now and its helped push my freestyle down a really simple but interesting route. I have blindside landings locked into this board now perfect and clean powered handlepasses good too. And all the double handlepass stuff? I can't deal with it the other groms love it! Today is much lighter winds but in CT it can go mad at any moment. <<<LEWIS>>> |
